Toyota urges Vietnam to allow hybrid vehicles in future LEZs in Ho Chi Minh City

Toyota Vietnam, a subsidiary of Japan's Toyota Motor Corporation, has proposed that the Vietnamese government recognize self-charging hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) as vehicles prioritized for circulation alongside battery electric vehicles (BEVs) in future low-emission zones (LEZs) in Ho Chi Minh City, according to Toyota Vietnam general director Hirata Osamu.
